anyone know if the hardware store simply sells "black vinyl wrap?"

what can I use it for? Is it removable?

Amazon of course, but the last time I was in Michael's craft store they had some too.

I had the same problem with on a previous car. I lightly scuffed the area with a Scotchbrite pad and it solved it for me.

It's sort of odd to me that somebody doesn't have a collection of random aerosol paint cans laying about to use on a project like this.

Maybe I can confess in the "what do you collect" thread that I clearly collect aerosol paint cans and probably have 60 or so, most without tips anymore as they were all scavenged to replace clogged ones lol

Haha not everyone has a large "garage" AKA workshop studio where the car doesn't go. I've never painted, sanded (only a little) never plasti dip...
