Just sent a vape selling spammer to the eastern front and I have mixed feelings about the dude from Serbia I sent packing too.

Several days a week we get people trying to join from Pakistan, Russia, Serbia etc.

All I have let in turned into spammers so basic policy is they get rejected. I do a review of each applicant before letting them in.

Just had one that was flagged by our software as a spammer. Given his bikes I thought it was crap so I emailed him and asked “Are you going to Spam my forum”?

He said no and mentioned coming down to CA for track days. He has already proven to be a solid moto man so I am glad I took the time to reach out.

Edit: You guys would not ever seen these people as they are in an admin queue. Once in a while I ask Enchanter for advice.

You may see a spammer who slid by once in a while but as you probably are aware the # of spammers is much lower than days gone by where you just had to prove you were human with captcha deal.

Bolt took a half hour prowl around the back yard and came back in, so I took a shower. I have an responsibility at 9:30 so Bolt can't get out till I get back and of course he's gone in to butt kitty mode.

The Xenforo has nice features that catch most of them but some times it's overzealous.
