Fox is just now healing from his paw wounds. He had one really bad one and two others that were pretty bad. He's still limping a bit, but considering he basically laid in bed for over a week, I'll take it.

Hope Joy heals up soon.

Didn't you just express your love for your current ride on the BARF?

Or are you going to the dark side like many of us have?

Dark side is a pedal assist e'bike.

Preferably lightweight, under 35lbs.
Politely, I am not an e bike person. I am happy that e-bikes get more people cycling but I prefer acoustic. My love for Schmoopsie is still strong. n+1 this will be my fourth bicycle.

I’m purchasing a more capable road bike with more speeds. My current bicycle is an excellent urban bomber. I want something better sorted for doing the century I have planned in October.

I remember meeting Cootz for the first time. We met at a cafe in the City, I had the Bossdog who was very unruly. Cootz had hair down past her ass and was VERY young. She was just getting ready to do the AIDS ride.
Correct me if I’m remembering wrong.

Tiger ready for pickup. Back into some old leathers to take it for a spin- love the look and invincible feel but textiles sure breath better 😓

I'm personally just mad that e-bikes (aka motorized bicycles) are using bike lanes. To the extent that bicycle "infrastructure" in the city may be changing to accomodate motorized shit instead of going with the flow and enabling manual bicycle shit .
(I bet that shit is going to get misinterpreted)

Note I don't care about huge alleys in parks with trees; that's in the outer burbs.(If not the country)

But even my personalest friends with the mildest ebikes do rearward shit that regular bicyclists would not do. The stereotype is there because...you know.

Oh, I got it. It's just not bicycling. It's motorized-cycling. And that's not even including models like Ariel, Super73 or sur-ron. Those are outright motorcycles

There that should do it 😜 🎉

My take is motorized bicycles should be registered and insured. I get hostile towards the entitled, latte sipping, spandex clad 2-5 abreast dickwads that don’t contribute dime one to road structure or their bike lanes.
Thankfully the Richmond San Rafael bridge shut down the bike lane during commute hours.

Bruno wants to play with the big dogs!
We saw a decent size rattlesnake crossing the trail, but it got into the weeds before I could get a pic... and I decided not to chase after it. :laughing

Be careful with dogs and rattle snakes. My neighbor across the street just lost one of his dogs to a rattle snake bite.

Also know that dogs can be trained to avoid rattle snakes.

My vet suggested the rattlesnake vaccine for our dogs. I just got them boosted last week.

I don't know man, my bike is an ebike. Granted it's a light version and only has I don't know, 400 watts or some shit. It's not as bad ass as the ones my friends have, but it works great for what I need and feels more like a bicycle. I have to work harder too, since I can't just put it in high and roll the pedals.

That said, I also am curious what the "rearward shit" means. I'm actually mellower on this bike than on an acoustic. It's more expensive and I can't really afford to bin it into a lake or something.
