For sure back crap sucks. Drugs can help a little if you are frozen up.

Wish you well G.

Good morning, I'm usually more awake by now 😫 where's ma' coffee

Dang, that ain't good! No aftermarket parts yet, but it sure feels like I slept on the wrong side of the pickup truck bed last night.
Thinking about going for a coffee ride and realign the 'ol back.

Thinking the same. Working with my insurance to attempt a procedure that should help.

My car lied to me.
The gas gauge said almost an eighth of a tank. The range display said 66 miles.

I’m tooling along northbound I five near Thunderhill and the beast just dies. I roll onto the offramp and say uh oh. I called AAA and say I hope I ran out of gas.

They bring me gas and all is well.

I did that last week. At least it was sort of in the driveway.

wonder if the beast got something caught in it's throat? my old truck ran out of gas at 1/4 tank because the plastic piece that sucked up the gas got old and broke off. i start looking for gas stations when i get close to 1/4 tank now out of habit. have to remind myself sometimes in the newer vehicle IT ISNT EMPTY, YOU CAN FILL IT UP TOMORROW :laughing

It's my day off and I could sleep in a bit before prepping for my interview. I also didn't sleep well last night and yet, here I am awake. Rude.

Also not aftermarket parts here by my right hip joint has been bad ever since my attempts at highschool football. It usually flares and goes away but it's been angry non stop since the bike shop job. I guess being on my feet all day is bad for a worn out whatever is going on in there. Hoping to stay stock for as long as possible though.

AAA has been very good to us over the years! (but I still won't let them replace my battery)

I'm getting ready to call our dog trainer, who lives close by, and see if she'd be interested in walking Bruno a few times a week until I'm able again. I don't know that I'd trust anyone else to take him (he's so strong!) I can't afford to pay her regular training rate of $100/session, tho. The training sessions are 1.5 hours. So if a walk is 20-30 minutes, maybe $100/week for 3 walks? IDK... I hate negotiating money.
Anyone know the going rate for a dog walker?

Absolutely location and Walker skill dependent.

I could pay a local teenager 10 bucks a walk, but I'm sure a dog trainer is going to be a lot more even if they are not training as their time is worth more.

True.
I considered asking a couple teens in the neighborhood, but I don't want to hear "Sorry, he got away." or "He bit me."

So now the recruiters manager wants to call me to talk about the interview and "share more details" on the role. Feels a bit late in the game to be giving me more info, but, at least they're all hoping I get called up :laughing
