True.
I considered asking a couple teens in the neighborhood, but I don't want to hear "Sorry, he got away." or "He bit me."
We don’t want to hear that.. either.. !

So now the recruiters manager wants to call me to talk about the interview and "share more details" on the role. Feels a bit late in the game to be giving me more info, but, at least they're all hoping I get called up :laughing
They must be doublechecking.. good luck!

I am weird. Once the cages are at like half a tank I put more in.
Naaah, I’m more like the opposite. Once I heard that Stan da man of barf once ran out of gas on the way to the movies (presumably with the SO) just to call AAA and get “5 bucks free”, I was like.. oh so that’s why people are rich!!

:laughing

I also try to keep my phone batteries charged so...

I think I've only run out of gas once, as a teenager... apparently it was a learning opportunity (I kept a can of gas in the back of my ford truck with a sticky gas guage)
Butch gets a pass tho, as he was a victim of faulty technology. :laughing

As a teenager I ran out of gas going up a hill, then ran into gas going down that hill and promptly took a very flat route to a gas station :laughing

I’ve run out of gas on one of the steepest hills of sf… while parked .

Arrived, parked between driveways, had dinner with the friend, went back to car in the dark, started, put in gear… and moved only half a driveway up, blocking it and it choked .

Well, it sounds like a lot of the questions are going to be specific to onboarding carries to RCS, this is something I have never done. Best I can do is draw parallels to similar work I have done and show that I'm a quick learner and a team player.

Had to rack my brain on a gas issue.

I ran out of gas once in my life. HWY 108 on the east side while rocking my Sumo.
I thought I damaged the motor, but Unicorn Power had a small can of gas that lit me back up and got me to Bridgeport.

Possible I did on my minibike but being 58 years ago... = memory fail.

Running out of gas last week was an eye opener for sure. This week I’m spending time evaluating stress levels and the overwhelming day to day involved in my life.

I have been "lightening the load" by purging "stuff" for a while now.

Less stuff = less work, less worries

Kids are older, why do we have ANY kid stuff???? Sell, donate, trash...

Bikes and motos that are sitting unused for years, sorry, bye. (Make.space for new ones that will get used? 👹)

Parts, materials, etc that have been on shelves for years, re-home or trash.

I hate filling landfills, but I have to remember my own house is not a landfill for unused things to sit and take up space either.

Clothes unworn for over a year, bye

Papers, mementos, books, old records...bye

It is so easy to get stuff, and so hard to get rid of it. What an odd conundrum.

I have had to clean out a few houses of relative hoarder stuff, I don't want to be dealing with that again, for myself, or making others deal with it for me.

I have a particularly nasty one coming up on the East Coast at some point. My aunt who refuses to have anyone to her house because she is so embarrassed by how hoarder it is, apparently there is nowhere to sit because everything is covered in boxes and piles. That one I will simply make some phone calls and cut checks to deal with.

I've been thinking about a possible need to move to cheaper environs at some point in a year-ish. I'd definitely purge addressively. I do find it hard as everything I grab to get rid of is like, but what if I need it later, it's a keepsake, etc. That said when I moved from Colorado out here I got ride of a lot of stuff and being able to fit my life into a studio apartment was nice.

I'm a rational person so I know it's not doable, but the idea of loading a small bag with a few changes of clothes and not much more and just leaving to be a moto-tramp is appealing.

I moved out west with what fit in my car.
Good times.
Now I'd need a couple of large moving trucks.

We also just sold a fully furnished property in Reno, so have to purge that all next week.

:facepalm

I just reflected that I have used the facepalm emoji in reference to myself about 10 times in the last few days.
That requires further consideration

I ran Nate's DRZ out of gas on the SMR recently. RUDE. Highly entertaining.

I ran out of gas on the DRZ coming home from a Pride parade ride. Luckily it was the Grand Lake exit so I was able to coast down. Got more than a few :wtf looks pushing the bike multiple blocks to the gas station with the giant sock monkey sticking out of my leathers and a rainbow wig.

Wife and sister in law have been dealing with is for 2 weeks.

Plus my wife is now in charge of the eldest sister's finances etc.

A real PITA.

Nearing the finish line though.
