So it's been an insanely busy week. Two of my people are on vacation and all hell is breaking loose. I was out of town half of last week and Monday and Tuesday of this week. It's been a rough week.

That said, I got shit done. Got one project released that has been held up for a while and is kind of contentious. Got another thing out the door that might keep another super high-profile project on track for the year. We are down to the absolute wire on this one and this one agency has been a nightmare. I picked up the phone and worked it out in five minutes. Then I ordered a bunch of gear for my team.

And now, it's time for a beer and :smoking
 
work is becoming a nightmare because my supervisor's supervisor is all in my business. It's never-great job! but always-do it quicker....
 
I'd totally get a 🍺 but it's a bit hard to move, when I can just sit,grab a de SCHUTES lager , and type in single-line sentences...
 
I can’t ride for a week…

I hit an owl last night. I had gone to meet a friend for a beer and was driving home. I don't drive at night that much and was actually just thinking about one time I was driving home on the exact same road at night and hit an owl, when all of a sudden something hit my windshield hard. Scared the shit out of me.

Anyway, I turned around and there was this little screech owl in the road just sitting there, wing out. I picked it up and brought it home. Luckily there is a wildlife rehab just down the street so when it opens I can take it in. I check on it this morning and it actually seems relatively ok. Standing up, wing looks normal, looked back at me. But it hit really hard so I am worried about the little guy.

Slept uninterrupted. Until 7. Huh , found medicine, comes from Scotland.

Coffee without doggies soon, maybe with cow (milk.)
 
On the road at 6;45. Coffee in hand by 7 and car washed and detailed before 8.
The guy who details my cars was on his way to do a few and saw me.. pulled in and said "Good Budman.. take care of that thing". Told him the bad news that he will never drive/detail the Caddy again. He was :wtf

Now a little barfing before I start crunching on some fun(ish) work.
 
Woke up before my alarm, haven't quite gotten around to getting out of bed, but it'll happen. Short staffed at the shop today so it'll be a busy day potentially.
