so yesterday when I went to smog, gruff chinese-accented guy said "Wait 1 day to register with DMV"... he wants delay -to-the system, so the data reaches.

but ofc I"ve never heard that before.

No biggie, I assume their computer is on a 24hr delay or something. it was $69 for the BTW. Is there anything in the NOx / CO2 values I need to analyze? No

That's standard. It takes a day to update at DMV.

Smog test results: Look back at your previous tests and compare results. Are the values relatively the same?

2000 and later is usually pass fail without the anal probe. If you have emissions data, it's from the ECU. I believe that's what my smogger dude told me.

In my day the electronic transfer from the smog machine to dmv was immediate... perhaps that's changed.

the microscopic ones are sometimes found in my kitchen sink. Have no idea where they came from. They are like 1/4 of a pea size. Do you also have microscopic ants in your kitchen?

Yes. My kitchen has been invaded of late. I keep a bottle of Windex on the counter and spray them when I see them. Hasn’t been a problem for a few days now. But the Windex is at the ready.

When I saw a line of ants, I used to wet my finger in my mouth and then draw lines across their path. It confused the hell out of them until they found a new path.
