So I was talking with a good friend of mine this morning. She apologized for the happy belated birthday greeting. She is a jiu jitsu friend I haven't seen or trained with in a couple years. She has a crass sense of humor the way I do. Training any martial art with girls/women always takes a bit more of level of mutual respect than training with men. Not diminishing them and their abilities but we're gonna have to touch each other and it's not sexual or weird. She said one time I grabbed your ass on purpose and I said yeah well I've touched your boobs, not on purpose but let's call it even.

Part of telling her about my birthday was so excited that we got pizza. So what she did, she said I'll call you back. And when she did, she told me she ordered me a pizza from one of the local spots here. Well she didn't order it. She paid for it. She said the manager knows, it's an unusual situation but he allowed it and there's a note in the back for the employees. So if it's this afternoon or this evening or tomorrow, the only thing I need to do is be there, show my ID, sit my ass down and wait for my pizza to be cooked. :teeth

aaand just like that, my mom has fallen and has some nasty breakage ... now I might need to go do some sudden adulting :rant speaking of grump and sa. :dunno hmm... don't even know what's going to be happening.

Oh dang, sorry to hear that, adulting sucks and aging parents is a stressful thing, had a few health scares with my folks over the past year or so and it's very stressful.


I've checked and rechecked that I have everything I need to measure valve clearances, maybe I'll actually take the covers off soon...
