I got mild feverish conditions myself, this afternoon. Finally coming to terms with that. :(

Hopefully will be better in 12 or 24.

That's what I get for visiting Walgerens yesterday, I guess. :sad

I really am hoping for a good couple days of riding in the next few weeks.

Pumpkin patch tomorrow with family and friends.

Goes wrong play in Sf Saturday with friends and then finding a bar for the 4theParty remote viewing.

Shooting Sunday... Still need to clean, pull ammo, and targets, and a bunch of other things. I found the locks though, so progress!

Airport run Monday to pick up a friend.

Tuesday dentist and day date with the wife before bridge city sinners concert that I'm fucking STOKED about...
 
I remain very interested in lending support to others.

I feel so technologically disadvantaged at my job! I had to change my password on my phone and I couldn't frickin do so. I kept forgetting my password and called for help. Since we have that dual identifyer on our work phones I couldn't get in to my computer. All fucking day I spent getting help and then I would screw it up. I called in sick tomorrow because i don't want to return to the mess that I created.
hey. TY for listening. As I said to one of my co-workers before I left for the day-may this be the worst thing that happens to me for the rest of my life.
Better perspective.
My brain is going into mush.
 
nice to hear that I am not alone in this.

I always say that the best part of my job is what I do so well-counsel others. The worst is the fucking technology. Am I too old to work? retirement does not think so.
 
I have the same issues. I am good at my job, but get so bogged down in the BS technology crap. While others create these beautiful powerpoint presentations and show their "slide decks" and talk about "innovative approaches to techological supremacy in the era of artificial intelligence and how we can channel these advances to further......" I'm over here drawing on a piece of paper with crayons "No, see this fucking lizard? Don't run over it with your goddam work truck."

I am aging out of tech and the City Portals are a challenge and a half.

I look at having a bad day or even a terrible situation as a motorcycle racer. I am alive and healthy.

I will get through this. (Whatever).

Watching a few people die changed my perspective on dealing with issues decades ago.

I had to literally step away from mine too while trying to complete onboarding for the new gig.

Gmail browser didn't want to save info so despite me getting to the end and seeing the "you've completed all the steps", it wasn't showing up at hr.

So had to pull out the laptop and redo it all a fourth time.


Still not sure if they got it, haven't got confirmation so they might think I'm an idiot and be reconsidering hiring me. :dunno
 
yeah I am too complacent to take courses about how to deal with a computer or a smart phone in later years.
Is there such a course? I think it should be offered at Community College.
 
There is.

Also check out your library for work vocational classes in technology and apps/programs that you may be struggling with. You might be in there with a bunch of bluehairs but it's still useful info.

Same for you BL, PowerPoint for dummies is a thing and so are single day classes to learn some technologzzz
