well on Saturday I let Bolt into the patio thinking he was to big to fit through the opening in the gate I had made for Sebastian but I was wrong.
So today I let him into the patio but blocked the opening thinking he couldn't get out by jumping the 5 feet to the top of the fence, wrong again.

that's him looking to get out.

That's him getting out. He got under the back deck where I can't really get to and while I was getting a flashlight and greenies to try and tempt on to the deck he doubled back on me and went downstairs to go back into the house. Sneaky kitty.

yesterday, Bolt looking at the holes the gophers have made in the neighbors yard. He seems quite interested in rodentia.

did a couple of escorted walks this morning, he has now been in 4 neighbor's yards, 2 of them across the street. He now sits at one of the 3 sliding glass doors and meows to be let out.

Make sure you are tracking if the neighbors are poisoning those gophers. Don't want Bolt paying the price if he snacks. I had to convert my feral to full-time house kitty due that that happening when I lived in Oakland. It was a painful several weeks for everyone :p, but she made it to 16 being a house princess with supervised walks on a lead.

When they were tiny Kato and brother Loki used to sleep together on the desk chair of this rattan desk peering out at my wife 4 feet away while we were in the TV room.

Seems now 3 year old Loki has returned solo to that spot late at night.

He's at head height of my wife seated near him.

Love the photo of Bolt on the arbor! Is he chipped? Might maybe want to think about getting him a collar with his name and your # on it if he’s wandering and crossing the street.
