Hi folks! It's been awhile. A combination of physical, mechanical, and work issues have kept me sidelined.

The last race reg email I got is titled "season finale" but there's nothing about the last two TBD rounds at Buttonwillow and Laguna Seca being canceled. I was going to make a heroic late season effort to be at Laguna. Was that just a one off last year? It's pretty dead in the forum too and I don't see any posts from Berto about it.
 
Laguna Seca didn't give us a date this season due to their improvements impacting about 6 months of track rentals. We put in our request for a 2024 date, given pricing, attendance, etc.

Buttonwillow hasn't finished their second track yet, which the race was scheduled on. That's why we made this coming last weekend a double round.
 
Thanks Berto! I know BW got cancelled last year because the new track wasn't done. I guess it's dragging along. Bummer about Laguna. I'll be there for Indy Car this weekend though! But I get shipped off to Texas against my will after that so I'll miss the final. Highs and lows....

It's a work thing. Getting called to the mothership. We have a big year-long project going on and this is the go, no-go phase. Just for a few weeks. Not permanent. I wouldn't agree to permanent. NFW.

Lord willin' and the creek don't rise I'll be back on the grid next year.
