Hawaii may be boring to you; for my friend who is going, solo BTW, it is a huge venture for her to travel alone that distance. Her husband passed almost 3 years ago and this is one of her bucket-list trips. She wanted to go to Maui but was about $1,800.00 more than Oahu (Waikiki, which I remember 40-odd years ago as "San Jose By The Sea". I am pissed she didn't tell me about the price difference. She had the trip booked and paid for when she told me. 
She went to Maui about 20 years ago with her husband and daughter and wanted to re-experience that trip. Oh well, I can't change what has already happened.

I was introduced to that as Kapu Kuʻialua. Always interesting to me, as I was told by a master down in L.A., big Samoan homie, that it was the only style where you would rather fight 3 guys instead of just one.
