Does shot spotter tech work on M-80s and other firework explosions?


Since Memorial Day, the Richmond-SP area sounds like Baghdad every night. Last night was really bad. It's like the run-up to July Fourth started way early. I posted a FB note and its true in Petaluma, Redwood City and even Seaside that people are hearing way more ordinance this year.

Does the tech find it?

Don't need shot spotter, they are coming from a rotating radius of 1-2 blocks from my house. Been ridiculous lately, and we are used to quite a few fireworks round here.

Not sure what changed, but people have some serious bombs this year and got their hands on a lot of them.

Edit: My mark I shot-spotter eyeballs say the fireworks are ~250' from the window at my computer desk. Some quite pretty green and red ones tonight.
