I don't think I have ever sold a bike successfully through BARF, but I will keep trying.
It is probably time to part ways with my beautiful restored 1967 Norton Atlas 750.
I used this bike more when I lived in San Francisco and did vintage rides and was more involved in the moto culture. Living up here in Truckee, I ride dirt and adventure but really not much else.
The bike has been winterized and non-opt for the last 5 years and living under a cover, not even being admired and oogled. Which is a horrible shame.
Details
1967 Norton Atlas 750, fully restored, beautiful Chrome and paint.
4 leading shoe front brake upgrade
Single Amal carb (I mistakenly listed it as mikuni)
Electronic ignition
Starts easily every time, never let me down.
Kickstart only. Right foot shift, left foot brake.
Fat folder full of receipts and invoices from the previous owner during the restoration and subsequent work.
$7500
4/19 update
I bought a brand new battery, replaced the fuel line, added 2 gallons of fuel, did a quick once over, oiled the k&n air filter, cleaned her up and she started on the second kick after a little AMAL tickling. Love it after 5+ years of sitting.
Worthy of being ridden and enjoyed, or put in a display for show.
The only thing I would change is to put fresh rubber on the rims as these are a bit old
I'll even throw in a set of Whitworth wrenches!
