This is your chance to own the wonderful Mr. White, a fantastic twin-cylinder sport-touring motorcycle and probably the most comfortable motorcycle I've ridden. It's fast enough, stable enough and well-mannered enough to be a true do-it-all bike. If you want a weekday commuter and weekend fun-bike, Mr. White will do that (though you might want a taller screen).

To the best of my knowledge, it's never been crashed, knocked over, tipped over, or whatever euphemism you want to choose; only the tires have touched pavement on my watch. However, it gets ridden way more than it gets cleaned, so expect a few bug spots and the gentle wear that comes with a bike that's had a fun life.

Title is clean and in my possession. $4100 $3600 [limited-time offer before it goes on CL] for a BARFer, with $100 going to BARF.

Lots of highlights with this one, so a list is probably best:
- The Rotax motor, used in a lot of BMWs of this displacement, has ~34k miles and should go 60k+ more
- White (previous owners used it as a "show bike"), which is not a factory color
- BMW Tank Bag (integrated mounts), BMW Sport Bags and Givi trunk included; you can have the grab rail, too
- Ohlins rear shock, Mupo valves in the front, giving a very nice ride even on crappy pavement (set for 170 lbs., street)
- Full Remus exhaust with Carbon Fiber end can (it sounds lovely)
- PCV (with mapping done on a Dyno!) to smooth out fuel delivery in every part of the rev range
- Optional BMW Trip Computer with all sorts of helpful readings, like averages, a gas gauge, gear position indicator and more
- ABS
- Adjustable factory levers
- Brembo factory brakes
- Bar risers (mild) to balance the riding position, which is on the sporty side of "neutral"
- RAM ball mount, dual USB plugs, Battery Tender leads (for the plugs, or heated gear, or whatever)
- Michelin Pilot Road 5 tires in good shape (1500+ miles left)
- New battery (the last one lasted about 3.5 years)
- Yellow headlight, great for fog and visibility
- Consistent maintenance by a professional motorcycle mechanic
- Great gas mileage (45+ with "spirited" mixed riding, 50+ freeway)
- It's lived an "inside life", in a garage and on a BT
- Aftermarket screen, in case that matters to you
- And probably other stuff that I've forgotten over the years

The "full transparency" list:
- The rubber on the footpegs has worn down and can't be replaced alone, so I used an old trick rather than buying new footpegs: zip ties, which keep the rubber in place. Never an issue.
- The drive belt probably has about 5k less (and there are replacements that are much less expensive than the BMW-branded ones)
- The previous owners transported the bike and it must have rubbed on the van walls because there are some marks on the fairings, but no cracks (not even repaired ones)
- Minor scuffs because...well, that's what happens, but…
- The bike has never been down since I have owned it

Bring your gear and cash in hand for test ride.

Price drop for a limited time: now $3600 (with $100 to BARF) before it goes on CraigsList. Please give this great all-rounder a good home!

Great bikes; love my ST.

Does your S have ABS?

Mine does not which is rare, (and I prefer).

Thanks for the reminder; yes, it has ABS (which can be turned off).
