TWO BIKES IN ONE!

Resurrected Husky 450 SMR: street supermoto ripper X plated dirtbike

Comes with a set of dirt wheels (actually 2 front wheels and one rear, all with tires mounted) and chain. Quick swap. No need to change front brake caliper.

A buddy used to ride this on trails (with the included set of dirt wheels) even though it is the factory supermoto (not a TE). I pulled it out of his storage container a few months back and have been gradually bringing it back to life. Cosmetically, still a bit rough (needs new plastics), but she's running strong!

What I've done: put on new tires (Conti Attacks), new throttle cable, new grips, fresh air filter/oil, new battery, replaced fork lowers & fork oil, rear brake caliper rebuild, bled brake lines (front and rear). Fresh oil change (Motorex Power Synt 10w50) and filter. Carb removed and cleaned. New clutch lever. Put on some pre-owned 7602 Racing anodized (red) clutch and stator covers w fresh gaskets. 7602 clutch cover has very convenient oil window. Stock covers included in sale.

Registration and insurance are current. Clean title in my name.

This bike is carbureted (not fuel injected) and while the carb was cleaned, it may need to be adjusted, as the bike runs a little rough before it's warmed up. Once its warmed up, it RIPS. I took it over to the Marin headlands to put it through the paces this week and it performed flawlessly.

The exhaust pops a bit on deceleration. I do not know if thats carb related or a little leak somewhere in the exhaust system. If Im riding in a residential neighborhood (and want to be polite), I pull the clutch in and the popping stops.

If you're familiar with this MV Agusta-era Husky, you know these bikes RIP. Ive had 3: a 610, a 450 and a 510 and this one does everything right. Light, quick, nimble as hell and pretty bulletproof! I took it to the go-kart track at Sears Point and while I was probably the slowest guy out there, the bike did just fine (hence the blue tape on the headlight in the photo). Come take it around the block. Bring cash and a helmet.

As mentioned, it comes with a set of dirt wheels and a spare chain, as well as a parts bin which has a new trailtech computer, rack for the tail and a handful of other random shit. I have a fresh set of red tank plastics, in original packaging. The white plastics are beat, but thats only cosmetic and can be replaced reasonably cheap.

Other things to note:
Speedo cable accidentally came off when swapping front wheel and I have yet to replace.
Miles/hours unknown, as the stock computer is only partially functional.

$3200 OBO.
