I'm selling my 2008 Yamaha FZ6. I haven't been riding in years, and it's time for someone else to enjoy it. If you are a mechanic or are willing to put in a little work to get a great deal on a fantastic bike, this is the perfect opportunity. I am pricing it fairly to reflect its current condition. No trades, please.

This bike was used mainly for commuting, with a few track days mixed in. It has been on Planned Non-Operation (PNO) with the DMV since 2022, and I have a recent vehicle record from the DMV to confirm its status.

Details:​

• Clean title in hand.
• Mileage: 32,604.
• Starts every single time. It has always been kept on a battery tender and started regularly (out of nostalgia)
• Major service performed right before being stored (2018/2019): This included a valve clearance check and a full fluid change (oil, coolant, brake fluid, and fork oil).
• Chain: The chain has rust. While I don't see any kinks, it should be replaced.
• Tires: The tires have plenty of tread left, but they are old (date code from late 2017) and should be replaced due to age.
• Storage: The bike was stored outside, though it was kept under a cover.
• General TLC: It was last ridden in 2018/2019. As with any vehicle that has been sitting, a general inspection and fluid change is recommended before riding.
• Pretty much stock except:
  • Offset handlebar risers (~1" up, ~1" back for a more comfortable riding position)
  • Pazzo adjustable short brake lever
  • Taller aftermarket windshield
  • USB phone charging port
  • Handlebar end weights/protectors
