Ok, If you know me , you know how I care for my bikes.
I am selling as I wanted something I can ride on the road and do occasional track day.
Bought a ktm 690 smc r that is a few years old.
I made this bike out of the best parts from two bikes. My 07 gsxr track bike ate 3rd gear at Chuckwalla earlier this year.
It was cheaper to buy a replacement bike than rebuild my old engine that had a unknown past.
I purchased this 09 from a friend. It was his track bike which I think he raced once (?) before having a low-side at T-Hill last year then parked. It was a road bike before that so not a lot of track miles.
I used the best parts from both bikes to create the bike I have now.
The motor has been dyno tuned by Tek-Moto in Chico for a smooth, safe tune, not max hp. 129 HP and a smooth hp/tq curve.
the deets:
Clean title
Ohlins suspension serviced by DareDevil motorsports, tuned by Dave Moss. Sprung for 200lb.
Adjustable Ohlins steering damper
Forged wheels
Brembo front brakes and M/C, new Brembo race pads
Braking front rotors
SS brake lines
quick shifter
Full Arrow exhaust system
Aftermarket ram-air tubes with new frame gaskets
Free flow serviceable air filter
New Iridium plugs.
Vortex rear-sets
keyed Ignition switch delete with Woodcraft start/stop/map switch
Motion pro Throttle
Vortex clip-ons
Samco hoses , distilled water and water-wetter for coolant.
Motion pro catch can
engine case protectors
Everything drilled and safety wired for the track.
I did the paint on the fairings. Looks good for a track bike.
I get compliments every time I tech this bike as one of the best looking, sorted , gsxr 750's around.
$5,900 obo.
Please send pm for additional pictures or info.
Bike is in Redding but can meet at Thunder Hill as well.
