SOLD

Selling my 2014 Triumph Tiger 800 XC. Clean title in hand. Asking $5,300. This has been a well-maintained, enthusiast-owned bike set up as a reliable lightweight touring motorcycle. Never offroaded. Garaged and kept on a battery tender since I bought it from Motojava in 2020. 4 wrist surgeries have kept me from riding much for the last 4 years and its is not improving so I’m finally selling.

The bike has been professionally maintained and is ready to ride immediately. Starts easily, runs strong, and everything works as it should.

Maintenance / Mechanical Condition
  • 29,589 miles as of May 7, 2026
  • Bought with 27k mi in October 2020
  • Oil and filter changed sat 29k mi with Castrol Power1 4T 10W-50 Full Synthetic and Hiflofiltro filter
  • Valves adjusted at 24k mi prior to my purchase
  • X-Ring Chain and sprocket showing minimal wear (black anodize still present on teeth faces)
  • Dunlop Trailmax Raid tires installed late 2023, but have less than 1000 miles on them.
  • Noco NLP14 lithium ion battery installed May 2023
  • EBC HH Brake Pads installed November 2020, still 70% remaining
  • Suspension and chassis in good condition
  • No warning lights or known mechanical issues

Upgrades / Accessories

Performance
  • Leo Vince LV One Evo Slip-On Exhaust (CA Legal)
Protection
  • Factory Triumph “dresser bar” engine guard kit. These are NLA from Triumph. Left bar indicated a tipover when I bought it. I painted over the abrasion (see pics) and haven’t touched it since.
  • Tech Spec tanks pads installed since I bought it

Touring / Luggage
  • SW Motech Trax Ion top case with pad
  • I have the factory Triumph 2 Box side pannier kit (Y2353180), however it has been miskeyed since I bought it, and I am currently attempting to rekey them. I have not succeeded yet, so am listing them separately. I never used them. They’ve just been in storage since 2020.

Lighting / Electrical
  • Electrical is untouched. No hacked harnesses or wiring.
  • Noco x-connect battery tender lead installed

Ergonomics
  • Factory Triumph comfort seat installed
  • (Legendary) Madstad touring windscreen kit installed. Madstad recently went out of business so this is unobtanium. Slight chip on bottom corner of windscreen (see pics)
  • Adjustable brake and clutch levers
  • Fresh Oury grips

Cosmetic Condition
Overall very clean for the year with normal minor wear consistent with use, and definitely less than you would expect for 30k miles.

Included
  • Clean title
  • CA registration through October 2026
  • 2 x Triumph keys, 2 x SW Motech keys
  • Maintenance records/receipts
  • Original toolkit
  • Note: I do not have the factory manual, nor any factory parts that were replaced above

Selling because a badly damaged left wrist means I can no longer manage a clutch for more than a brief ride, and prognosis isn’t good. Breaks my heart because I love this bike, but it’s meant to be ridden.

I’m not in a rush to sell and have priced it based on condition, maintenance history, and included equipment. Happy to answer serious questions or schedule a viewing for prepared buyers.

Test rides only with motorcycle endorsement and cash in hand.

Asking $5,300

Nice bike, nice listing and even nicer pictures! 4 surgeries in 4 years  that is brutal my friend! My father has this exact bike (not nearly as pretty) with 52k of experience ... yours will go for many more (s)miles!

Thanks guys. Sad to see it go. Haven’t given up hope completely on the wrist, but it’ll be years and probably some stem cell treatments before I can manage a clutch again. An Africa Twin DCT may be my near term solution.

Bump! Sorry to folks that sent DMs. I was out of town and off BARF for the last week.

SOLD!
