** SPOILERS!** Random Motorcycle thoughts unworthy of a new thread

Anyone here owned a 690 SMCR/701 SM/698 Mono and then switched to another bike afterward? Been riding a 701 SM for a few years now for commute purposes and it's basically peak motorcycle for me. I've been getting the itch to get a new bike, but there's nothing out there that I'd rather have. Wondering if anyone else moved on from these bikes and what they moved on to.
 
World Super Bike begins today with qualifying in Philip Island, Australia. Supposedly the final race they will host which is disappointing considering what epic battles have taken place there!

Briar Bauman (3) and Brandon Robinson (44) will lead Harley's effort to wrestle back the title.

Have to give props to MotoAmerica CFO Mr. Richard Varner

The boys came in and rescued racing in the USA after DMG basically screwed it all up.
Seeing Josh Herrin take a 50K check for the Daytona 200 win gives me hope that there is still more to come from MA.

Getting to a living wage for riders who become Pros has always been something I have hoped to see. Not everyone can have a factory ride, but a decent purse can sure make life better for all the riders on the grid.

I think it was a big whew for the AMA as well and they had to let a little of their ego go to make it work.
