Breaks felt "crappy", got the fluid changed. Like $16usd, he pulled everything apart, cleaned and lubed + changed the fluid. I thought I was just paying for a fluid change. He spent almost 2hrs "servicing" the breaks. They didn't have pads so I had to go to Honda next, OEM front pads $10 installed (had to remove a bit of fluid as we changed it with the old pads). Breaks feel like new now.

I haven't had a scooter in a while because they hurt my back. I'm seriously thinking about picking up a CT125 for around town. Motorcycle body position, bulletproof, small, etc.

I had to be in the Bay Area last weekend so figured I'd make the most of it. Rode through Woodside(84)-35/9 to Santa Cruz then 1 down the coast then up 84-35- and down 92. Great ride.

Made it back to Thailand yesterday. The bikes started but my little air pump died after pumping up the CRF. Still gotta pump up the tires on the AT.

What's crazy is you'll be riding down the street with your visor open and somebody will be cooking something so spicy it'll burn your eyes.

A rider went down yesterday with the Thursday group (I don't ride with them). He got messed up. Compound fracture of his leg and the bike ended up under water in a lake.


Rode with the Friday group today, 7 bikes. Some really nice roads.
