... and when you are out on track try to "hold your line"... don't do more than one swerve into each turn per lap. because there just might be someone trying to pass you. better to "fix your line" on the next lap rather than swerve all over the track.

Can I recommend my own service here? At 31cats.com I transport motorcycles from the Bay Area to any local track.

I’ll pick up your bike at your house, transport it inside a cargo van, will give support to first time riders and a place to relax and sit in the shade between sessions, then pick up your bike at the end of the day and return safely to your home the day that works better for you.

Is great for people that don’t have a hitch/trailer and want to try track days before investing in a moto rig.

I have a friend I ride on the street with. He’d like to do his first track day. I know Carters offers their Novice school.

I believe most do. At a minimum, they usually can provide an instructor help during sessions for most of the day. Carters is a great provider as are FTD/ PTT/ Z2.
