Should try this, and a sidecar...

The "Blue Motorcycle": A famous namesake cocktail for the community. It is a highly potent spin on the Long Island Iced Tea, combining vodka, gin, rum, tequila, blue curaçao, sour mix, and lemon-lime soda.
 
Sounds more like the Blue DUI....
Dunno where the motorcycle fits in....other than I imagine it tastes like 2-stroke fuel.
 
Yum Long Islands.

But this?
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • ¾ fluid ounce vodka
  • ¾ fluid ounce tequila
  • ¾ fluid ounce rum
  • ¾ fluid ounce gin
  • ¾ fluid ounce Blue Curacao
  • 1 dash sour mix
  • 2 fluid ounces lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
  • 1 slice fresh lemon
 
When I was a wayward teen, like probably every teen in existence, I would poach "just a little" from every bottle in my parent's booze cabinet into one 12oz bottle for a night out without any thought or concern for how things would mix or taste.

Vodka, gin, whiskey, scotch, rum, creme de menthe, vermouth, port, schnapps, anisette, Bailey's, etc., whatever was in there.

Yeah, you get the idea

  • Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed)
  • Simple Syrup

long island iced teas at the top flight in Chico, circa 1981. They had a happy hour where a LIIT was a buck and served in a 22oz glass.
 
I've never had one, well I had one last week for the first time, a LIIT.

And I've only been to a bar twice in my life, the first time was with budman. I didn't even have a drink. We were just doing a handoff. :wave

The second time was with my girlfriend, before she knew she was my girlfriend, a year ago in SF.

In the late 1990's, I did peak into a bar. I forgot the name. Actually it was just a door on a strip mall building - no windows. It was a couple blocks away from the Pink Poodle, which I never did visit. I saw some rough older women sitting at the bar and decided, nahhh...
