Now I can't say about other PBS stations, but KDOC down here will be running the entirety of Burns' "American Revolution" on Saturday. We missed it on its first pass, so I'm gorging my DVR with it.
Also, programming note, for those who watch "Capitol 4th", which is the annual music and entertainment show performed at the US Capitol, and broadcast on PBS each year followed by DC fireworks, this year, for whatever reason, they're performing and broadcasting on the THIRD (Friday).
They're moving the fireworks to over Mt. Vernon, instead of the mall. Supposed to be the biggest show ever (as big as a show can be on a TV screen).
But anyway, bit rude to show up on the 4th and find it just not there. 5pm PST on PBS.
Happy 250th all!
