mentioned previously that one of my fav dudes (local deep rock gold miner) got me some rocks from around 2,800 feet down in one of his mines. no gold, just very old rock (a passion of mine). asked him recently for a nugget. can you do that? sure, what size? told him. he said to give him a few weeks. i’m thinking, it’s molly tuttles fault (crossover to the favorite line from a song thread) - ‘i’m gold rush kate, from the golden state, with a nugget around my neck’. i told him that was why i wanted it, and at first he looked at me like i was the weirdest person he’d ever met. but then he grinned, and winked at me. very cool.
 
AC/DC was completely worth it!!! Can't believe 70+ year olds playing rock music for 2.5 hours, running around the stage the whole time. Epic.
