What Are You Thinking Of Right Now?

I always sleep with the window and blinds open. Hmm, food for thought, thank you very much! Sleep well tonight.

That certain year of GTO always makes me think of the Monkeemobile...

It was a George Barris piece...wasn't it?
Edit...Dean Jeffries

LOL...He could have bought them back for 2K each...
Wow...
"After the television show ended, both cars were offered back to Dean Jeffries for $2,000 each, who had the right of first refusal.
He declined to purchase the cars because he felt he could build new ones cheaper."

Aww...too bad, so sad...
Cleveland or NOTHING...

There wasn't a Ford I ever liked anyway...
Except maybe the Torino from Starsky & Hutch...
And the GT 40
Elenor was pretty sweet, too...A custom-built 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Similar to Steve's car in Bullitt

Not me.

I usually go to bed around 4...sleep til 12...
If the blinds and window are open...I'm getting woken up EARLY...
AND WE CAN'T HAVE THAT.

:teeth

I have another friend who has a ‘67 Mustang track car. He built a small block of about 340 cu. in. for it. Normally aspirated with a single four barrel. It makes a bit over 800 hp.

We bumped into each other one night 40 years ago this week... I was stunned by her. We were both seeing other people and neither of us were "looking", but something happened... like a lightning bolt. I got her phone number and waited for her to drive off so I could wheelie past her on my 750f :laughing. 48 hours later we were a couple... 3 months after that we were engaged... 6 months later we were married (no she wasn't pregnant... no kids for a couple more years). It was the best decision I ever made... sometimes crazy works! :loco

The week after we met, she went on vacation to the Klamath River with her family... the longest 2 weeks of my life! When she got back, she brought me an enormous dead rattle snake, and then skinned it in my kitchen... I knew I'd found a keeper!

We've spent many vacations on the Klamath since then, almost every year.

Krissy on the Klamath River 40 years ago... and last week. :love

This is most excellent! :love

3 weeks to the day after our first date I told my sister I was going to marry Eric. She exclaimed how great it was that we were in love. I said "Well, he hasn't actually said anything, or anything. Not yet, anyway. But I'm confident." We celebrated 34 years of marriage on July 18th. Sometimes you just know!

These stories remind me of how my second wife and I met. I went to JJ’s Blues Club in Mountain View with my brother to see Mitch Woods. After we were seated, the hostess asked us if we would mind sharing our table with a couple women. We agreed. Later one of them asked me to dance but I declined her invitation. I was a lousy dancer. My brother said he would dance with her. Then later I said yes to a dance. At the end of the evening, I was thinking enough to give her my business card and I mentioned I was going to be at work the next day. She ended up calling me Saturday at work and we made a date to meet atTony Roma’s for dinner that evening. The date we met was March 11, 1988. We married on August 27th, 1989. She was a feisty independent woman and we loved each other for the rest of our lives together. Alzheimer’s finally took her from me August 16th, 2021.

Man… some amazing examples of what I would consider to be true love. Very cool.

Here I am thinking about pants. Wife said she thinks I should go back to real pants instead of these athletic pants that are so super comfortable, look OK (to me), are multifunctional as in I can wear to the office or the gym, great for PT.

Blue jeans or slacks because :afm199

I should be thinking about love. Or food.
Nope… never knew how much I love these pants. :smoking

There ya go. :thumbup

I have not worn anything else since Sept 26th.
