I have a ball for my target, it seems to get heavier every time it gets shot !

One day my friend picked me up to go shooting and when I looked in the bed of his truck he had 50 milk jugs filled with water. We giggled like two teenage girls shooting those with our pistols from 20 to 75 yards.

One league shoots 3 position, the other shoots 4 position.


Next is going to be two CMP postal matches to get a national ranking in prone and 3 position. 3 pos, I'm going to get smoked. Prone . . . I'm going to get smoked, but not quite as badly.

USPSA cardboard targets to practice when I get time. Small steel gong. random paper targets I have laying around. If sighting in a rifle usually a graph paper style target to make adjustments easier to figure out. Any container that holds water.

Is it okay to mention any yard varmints that are trying to get to my chickens or ducks? And it's getting to be snake season again so poisonous snakes with 45ACP shotshells.

Yeah. Milk jugs are a big target and two guys with a couple hundred rounds of 9mm we were bound to get them all.

I used to ring a gong at 100 yards with my Glock. I felt I was more pitching 'em in like a softball pitcher. More artillery than pistoleer.

Hitting milk cartons/jugs at a distance with a handgun is dependent on not your bullseye groupings, rather grouping your targets.

And I hunt with bows rifles and pistols so it’s not like a big ass milk jug at that distance is some sort it super human accomplishment.
