So I am out riding yesterday with a couple of less experienced friends. One on a harley, the other a sprotbile and me on the f650. We are cruising up 1 in the Point Reyes/ Tomales area having a good time.

We are following a car and not too focused on passing because of the inexperience of my friends, the weekend traffic and the overwhelming police presence. We are simply put, cruising along minding our own business.

We come around a corner and some dude is on the side of the road on his motorcycle. Just after the car passes him, he pulls out in front of my two friends (I was brringing up the rear), almost taking one of the guys out. Motherfucker deliberately waited until the car passed but the bikes hadn;t, then did a burn out in the gravel, got a little squirrelly and almost sent my buddy into the oncoming lane (to avoid being hit.

The prick then followed the car until it turned off. We saw the asshole several times between Tomales and Petaluma. He was riding a Suzuki something or other with gray saddle bags and a gray ballastic jacket, white helmet. I seriously think he was out to try and wipe out riders.

The last time I saw him was on Lakeville rd, right by Sportbike Dynamics. Does anyone know this prick?

I know this is a rant and might piss some folks off. Thi sisn;t just another "some asshat squid" thread. This dude is trying to take out other riders. I seriously hope people in the north bay keep an eye for this guy.

even riders get too focused on cars and forget to look for bikes.
especially easy on sprotbiles
assume ignorance b4 maliciousness.

did you see him/her do other things that lead you to believe he was trying to take out other riders or just that on instance?
 
I would like to agree with you. But we were pretty close to the car, there was no way he didn't see us. No way. He could have pulled out in front of the car. He could have waited until we passed. There wasn't a wave of "ooops, I'm an idiot" or anything. He simply rode between the car and us until the car turned, then he rode in front of us for a while until he turned off.

Thsi was a deliberate act. At first, I thought maybe he thought we were some riders in his group and he was waiting for them and pulled in front of us thinking we were them. But when I saww him in Petaluma, he was alone. He parked in Petaluma and went in a store or something. I almost stopped to see what his problem was, but the guy even looked like an asshole (he had this sourpuss look on his face), so I figured the fact that he had to live with himself was probably punishment enough.

But to clarify: He was not a newbie.
I am not a newbie.
It was deliberate.

Okay, after searching google I have found that the work "sprotbile" has only been recorded once in Internet history. In the newsgroup section, and that was a misspelling of the misspelled word "sprotbike", hmmmm...

Let's see, the word was misspelled once and someone was clowning and misspelled the misspelling!!! :wtf

Okay, I would just like to thank barf for showing the world that our users could just misspell it ONCE, unlike anyone else in the whole world! :twofinger
