LOL the coach just left me a note saying to go even easier on my recovery rides. Ugh, that's gonna be tough.
Accurate.Robert, your “easy” recovery rides are something I aspire to as a normal or hard ride. I’d say you’re a beast.
You're like me. Once I'm on the bike, my thighs are going to burn for the whole ride, even if I intended to make it an easier day.LOL the coach just left me a note saying to go even easier on my recovery rides. Ugh, that's gonna be tough.

That’s the thing, those rides were def not like that. I was barely pedaling (for me). Avg HR was 113 and 122bpm. I suspect the 113bpm was fine but the 122 was too hard. I asked for clarification. You're like me. Once I'm on the bike, my thighs are going to burn for the whole ride, even if I intended to make it an easier day.![]()
Same, the hardest part of a ride for me is to not give 100% the entire time. It feels 'slow' to do 80% or so with the proper cadence but when I can keep the effort down it greatly increases how far I can go.You're like me. Thanks! Tomorrow I’m truly hoping for a pedal. We had snow this morning which was beautiful but rude.47min at 133bpm avg is a solid endurance/cardio workout.
The 5min in Z3 and a tiny bit in Z4 makes me wonder how you would respond to intensity & really heavy breathing. Something like 3x3min all out with 6-8min easy btw each.
I do like having a mirror for lifting.
Oh I like this! I need one front and one at the side. I reckon I could do a tripod set up and move as/where needed because I also like watching my form when I row. With today's technology, an indoor ring camera and your phone in a holder would be a much cheaper and quicker option. You could set up several ring cameras and switch between them. Pure viewing wouldn't require a subscription.
They aren't on sale at the moment, but they go on sale pretty often at 50% off.
How did you like it? What style of yoga are you doing?2nd yoga class under my belt.
I know you have been through this before but I feel like I have dealt with some long plateaus before I’d level up rapidly. I hope that’s the case. Not trying to say what you’re feeling is wrong but trying to offer a little sunshine.3 PT sessions and one Tai Chi, which I basically have memorized now. Rode the bike before PT3.
A lot of shit for not much gain.![]()

The PT sessions at my office are 1/2 hour. So call it 2 hours plus the 20 minute bike ride. It is of course worth it. I so want to throw aside the cane and do some daily simple things without any pain. What, ~4hrs of effort? Welcome to the grind. Keep putting in the hours - it’s worth it.
