Its all about attendance, from an Article about losing Phillip Island was this bit...

Yeah... I get that.

I would say that the old sort of streetish tracks with modern broadcast technology would be fricking awesome, but riders will get hurt.

The racers will have to decide if the Liberty Group chases this. Seems like they will.

If it does take place makes me wonder if you will ever see some Wild card entries from the dudes that do real road racing. Probably a big NO but it would be pretty cool to see Hickey slapping it up with MM.

I completely agree with this. It looks and sounds cool, but I don’t think it’s cool to enjoy it at the expense of riders safety and lives.

IOMTT is still a thing, and we can save our street zoomies for that. Let the excitement build up all year to them indulge ourselves with the spectacle for the TT week 😃

Phillip Island is the SHIT!!!

The racers who really like to rail love it. That is about everyone. :laughing
I think they need to get to work building a City next to the track with some awesome hotels, restaurants and bars. Get on it mates!
 
2 weeks to the first sprint race.... looking forward to getting the season going.

I am not sure if MM with continue to run 93... I assume so, but #1 does look good on the Ducati.
 
One can hope. I am one who will but not real confident the bike will be capable.

How good it will be will be shown off in qualifying because.. you know Fabio :hail
 
I think you have to be pretty hard core to watch this... I have it queued up. :dunno if I will actually watch it.
