A bike has been borrowed. A cool man named Caleb saw a post online and added this bike to the van without any confirmation or anything.

I did some maintenance on it. I swapped my saddle, pedals, bottle cages, and front wheel. I fit it to me and I did my openers on it. I guess it’s go time!

Pro Men went 4:32 today. 125% is 5:40, which I think would be amazing on someone else’s bike. 120% is 5:26. To get anywhere close, I need to be in the front group the whole time. With no pros on the field, I may have to lead it or something. We’ll see.

I am gaining weight which I do care about but I have and increased appetite when I work out, Go figure.

Fuck ya! 121% on a borrowed bike!!!

I was in a group of 6-20 the whole race. We worked together and crushed it. I did 100mi on a fucking bicycle on gravel roads in just over 5hrs. INSANE!

You can tell from my face how much I was drafting, cuz following is more dusty than leading 😅

I am gaining weight which I do care about but I have and increased appetite when I work out, Go figure.

IME there are a few good way to overcome the increased appetite.
1. Fuel the workout. 100Cal consumed before or during the workout is “better” than 400Cal of binge eating after
2. More protein, maybe less carbs. Protein is most satiating and may be exactly what you need anyway.
3. Give it time. Your body and appetite can adjust to the increased activity level. So you may not feel as hungry eventually.
 
Thanks! I've always had poor eating habits and now I understand that I need to eat more protein. Looking for 2 ripped biceps!

I think that I would feel full if I ate something prior to working out. Maybe I'll try to eat a banana or 1/2 of it tomorrow am prior to working out.

I snack on dried mango. Robert got me on the “eat a bit before you go and also during if it’s longer than about 90 minutes” and it helped me be less of a hungry hippo after rides.
 
Really good workout Friday evening. Crushed seated rows, olympic bar shrugs and lower back machine. Felt good so said to myself lets do another exercise so did upright row, bent over dumbell rows and I want to call them sunshines. Hit the treadmill and got in 8 minutes no problemo of jogging so am thinking by the first or second week of April will be at 15 minutes and will start to increase pace.

Not sure what I ate yesterday but I spent most of 4am to 8am with stuff forcibly ejecting out of both orifices. It was no bueno and am a walking corpse today. probably not the best way to lose 4 lbs but hey silver linings am I right? :cautious: I talked the wife into making me chicken noodle soup as the stomach still doesn't feel all that settled and may have to call pause on the gym tomorrow based on how tomorrow morning feels.
