Caffeinating, debating whether I ride my mountain bike in so I can stay late and install new bits, or whether I blow that off so I can leave work right at the end of the day and chill at home. Decisions. Probably should read up on how to install the new fork internals before I just tear into it :laughing

Caffeinating
Same same...lol

Haha . Sounds dangerous. Yo do the right thing

...unlike me, putting a 1.5 v on a gas furnace. And it works.

Nerdistaaaaaan :nerd

Cue the explosion meme. Probably not though. Looks like a nice day out. Further caffeination is required before I head out though.

sometimes I feel that way, too, dammit, the main PCP cannot do anything, for issues that actually are pretty bad for the person. (So, one just ends up wasting 15 min + travel + money)
Yep, PCP visit is always a colossal waste of time, but it's the only way to get the referral ball rolling.
I hurt my hand a year ago (lifting a transmission), been ignoring it since then because the numbness would come and go. It's been numb about week solid now... feels like my hand is full of sand... starting to effect my grip strength. :thumbdown
Could be worse tho. :thumbup

I fucking love my PCP. I am sorry others do not have such a great relationship with theirs.

I am off work at 1:00 today and pleased about it. I gotta get money for the roofers, pickup the boy from his place, grab pizza for everyone so we can have a pizza party. And, I had a crafty internet friend make a beautiful onyx choker that is being mailed to its equally beautiful recipient today.

I have never met mine.. in three fucking years..... total :bs

I have specifically requested to several times and each time I get thrown to his nurse. She is nice and knowledgable, but really.. :wtf

Nurse is okay. It takes care of smaller issues.

I'm not saying you have a small issue. But the other fact is, that for many medical issues aside from surgery, the doctor cannot do anything, right? And, that doctor is not a surgeon,,... sooo...

I’m supposed to have an appointment with my PCP 3 days after release from hospital. Tried to make the appointment but was told another doctor was available- fine . Oh other physician not covered by your insurance so we need an income statement. Fuck that, it’s this BS that gave me a heart attack in the first place. / :rant

Sorry to hear that G. Is there any way to write a coherent letter to your insurance company stating that you are not having your medical appointments honored in their system?

Now, that is the BS that makes other country's health systems look better.

I don't understand why PCPs have to (claim?) they are blocked / need an appointment / don't have an appointment right now. That's the point, literally, walk-in should be available exactly for these cases.

I fucking love my PCP.
I had the same PCP for over 25 years and loved him! He was also my wife and my mom's doc. He used to to tell me "Calm down or I'll call your mother!" :laughing
At the beginning of covid he said "fuck this" and took early retirement.
Since then I've had 6 different PCP's. I'm what they refer to as "difficult" :laughing
I like my current doc, although all she ever does is refer me to other doc's... but I guess that's her job.

You, difficult? No way! :love :laughing

That's a bummer about your previous doc, whose sense of humor sounds excellent.

When I got moved to Dr. Lwin after a series of OK docs I was really happy. She's wonderful.

So I met one of my neighbors for the first time today while checking the mail box.

Very fun short conversation. She invited me to join her and her husband's game night sometime soon also they do Taco Tuesday same night. She said they like playing Monopoly. I asked her what other games do they play because I don't like playing Monopoly. She asked why. I told her because I'm really really good at Monopoly. I'm going to win and I'm going to make deals that seem stupid but cause people to turn on each other and argue that's in my favor. People don't have fun playing Monopoly with me.

How about Uno or Phase 10 or Scrabble? :laughing

Sure that sounds really boastful but it's been proven over decades. I suck at a lot of other board games or card games.

I gots the carpal tunnel syndrome. Now I'm spose to wear this stupid little wrist brace... Oh, the shame. :cry

Not a big deal.

I sleep with one Ricky. Suppose you will too now.

Left only, but if I don't the arthritis attacks and I am in severe pain.
During the day I just deal with the pain.
