Mine doesn't really hurt all that much. My hand is just numb and feels like it's full of sand. But when she tapped a certain spot on the inside of my wrist an electric shock shot up my arm. :nchantr

Both my hands always ache at night from using them as hammers for so many years. My advice to my younger self would be- "Just go get the mallet... before you try smacking it with your hand two or three times" :laughing

Have you had the NCS - Nerve Conduction Study ? Or as I call it: "The Cattle Prod" test. It's akin to grabbing the coil wire!!! :rofl

As for the wearing of wrist braces at night did little if anything to relieve the pain.
 
I've had some mild crapal tunnel here and there, also the version you get in your elbows. It's dumb but thankfully nothing has gone fully numb, I do have to mind it though or it'll cause my fingers to lose sensation when riding which is... NOT COOL.

For me it is about keep the wrist straight. IF I sleep with it bent it explodes in terms of being swollen and a simple poke becomes extremely painful.

I've tried acupuncture multiple times (12+), for multiple issues. I always wanted it to help, but it never did (same experience I've had with chiro)
 
Met up with some friends we hadn't seen in awhile at the pumpkin patch.

So far, either we are lepers and nobody wants to come near us, people assume we are busy and won't want to attend, or regret coming by because chaos gremlins are chaotic.

Had one friend coming by and actually trusted to watch them enough to go to the store. Haven't seen them in a year because of medical reasons and whatever other excuses they've had. They've been downgraded to colleagues because I only know them through work and now that I don't work in booze I'm not super useful to them.

Another friend will visit when we ask but doesn't initiate it unless they need something.

Understanding people probably do exist, just not in our circle.

I know all of us have stuff so it’s not avoidance. There are so many people I think about but don’t call because life is hectic, chaotic and full. Elder prison has taken a serious toll on my emotional state and often I am just completely spent by the time I get to have me time.
