ADV/DS ride Lake Berryessa/Knoxville OHV/Rayhouse Rd.

Berryessa-Knoxville road closed less than a mile past "Rough Road" sign.

Oooooh. I might be able to make it to this. Hmmmm..... I do still need to put an 18" tube in the rear of the 690, instead of the 21" tube I installed in Baja. :laughing

Okee dokee. I threw an 18" tube in the rear. The 21 that was in there was looking rough. No way in hell it would have survived this Sunday's ride. Speaking of which, I'm looking forward to doing this. It's been awhile.
 
Remember that two weeks ago Berryessa-Knoxville road was closed due to mudslides.
 
99% in if I can wake up early...

Now do I ride the KLR with the D/S tires (or swap to the wheels with the knobbies) or do I haul the XR out on the back of the FJC and drop it at Pope Canyon and Berryessa or Posers corner?

First world problems, I know..

Given how muddy it will likely be, I would suggest bringing the XR. I'll be on the 690 but, for added challenge (not that I need it), I am leaving my shagged Baja knobbies on it. :laughing
