2026/2027 NFL Thread

Dart is now expected to miss the season. People are claiming its the trump curse. Since everything that fucktard touches turns to shit, It was inevitable that Dart would get knocked out of the season. I'm certainly not mad about it.

Welllll, If the NFC east got a little easier for the iggles, I'm not mad either. I'm surprised that was a season ending injury.

That Purdy throw was so close to being deflected or intercepted. A bit too risky of a throw IMO.

I would say that throw is the margin between winning and losing in Pro Football. I like watching teams play to win and sometimes the margins for that are mighty thin. Great pass.

These QB Injuries are exactly why SF kept Mac Jones and gave him a pay bump to be the backup.

I won't argue with that. BUT, I'm also a Raiders fan so I have a certain perspective when it comes to the team from Santa Clara. :laughing

He's damned good.

He set some records that have since been broken, but still.

No, Mac Jones no longer holds the official NCAA single-season records he set during his historic 2020 championship run with Alabama. [1, 2, 3]
While he initially set the all-time benchmarks for single-season completion percentage and passing efficiency (passer rating), both records have since been broken: [1, 2]

Sucks for NY that Dart got hurt... Ouch.
For sure at least a strained MCL. Hope he is able to bounce back.

Purdy has been F'ing money so far. I am REALLY impressed with the young man.

He spent half of last season hurt too. At this point, I'm ready to trade him for Arch Manning.

Ridiculous.

Maybe he was pretending he won the Indy 500!

The NFL fined San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk nearly $15k for an alleged act of “offensive demonstration” — when the league says he feigned chugging a brew in the end zone to celebrate a touchdown.

In the third quarter of an eventual 35-13 Niners win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Juszczyk caught a 6-yard scoring toss from Brock Purdy.

Juszczyk embraced teammates Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel before bringing his right hand up to his mouth. Juszczyk tilted his head back, then mimed drinking a pretend liquid.

Was the arm stroking forward and backwards during said "drinking" motion??
