2026 F1 thread, when season starts there will be spoilers.

I'm excited to watch Antonelli and Russell go at it all season.

One thing this race proved is that these new regs allow the cars to follow much closer for longer. Made for a great race.

I wonder if Russell damaged something when he went over the yellow curbs in the final chicane (when he pushed Kimi wide) that caused the engine failure.

And Max hates the yo-yo racing because of how its done. He's whining because he's not winning. I get many of the other drivers don't like the current regs. But he's the most vocal and is threatening to quit F1. Do it, Max. Go fuck off.

Monaco this weekend. Word is the FIA has determined that there is no safe place on this track to deploy "Straight Mode" (AKA DRS). So, Mercedes' straight line speed will be diminished. Word is that Ferrari will have the advantage at this track.

Worst race of the year.

Charles Leclerc's special suit for Monaco.

Since 2000, almost every Monaco winner has started from 1st, 2nd, or 3rd on the grid.

Worst race of the year.
I can see why some say that. I actually like the race weekend here. It helps that I have been to Monaco and walked the entire track (non race weekend).

Hamilton always looks so goofy with his outfits.

But I suppose there's a threshold of fame/wealth where looking like a kid who went crazy in his parents closet is considered fashion.

I'm just not hip enough to get it

I cannot read anything in this thread, because it will all be Spoilers for me,,, wanna know why APPLE TV does allow me to view races after they are over!!!!! I'm always busy on the weekends and I 90% of the time NEVER watch the races live. So, I will wait several days or weeks later to watch the race, but apple tv says "BLOCKED". I hate Apple.

Apple TV allows you to watch races on demand after they have ended. You can access full event replays, condensed highlight packages, or use the "start from the beginning" feature if you happen to join an in-progress race late.

How to Access Past Races
  1. Navigate to Sports: Open the Apple TV app or go to tv.apple.com/sports.
  2. Find the Event: Search for the racing series (such as Formula 1) and select the channel.
  3. Scroll to Replays: Scroll down to the Past Races section.
  4. Choose Your Format: Select Watch for the full replay or Recap / Race in 30 for highlights. [1, 2, 3]
