Brian Williams; PTSD, Alzheimers, or just full of shit?

Wonder if John Stewart will pounce on this as he and Williams seemed to be buddies whenever I'd see Williams on Stewart's show.

Yeah, I want to start a new 'list." The Anthony Weiner Hall of Shame and/or people who Jon Stewart just LOOOOVES to have on."

:afm199

So you see kids, if somebody seems too good to be true and is really popular with the cool kids, they probably have a rascally side that needs outing. I learned this the hard way when Duane Garrett jumped off the GG Bridge, then via revisionism, took it all the way back to Jefferson. And don't get me started about Bill Moyers. Or talk about JFK's personal life. The list goes on and on. Not to mention Walter Cronkite, as well.....

People of substance, of integrity and value to the human race often do NOT come in attractive packages that just dazzle you. Beware of fake gravitas, too. Most often a humbug.

Now, Elizabeth Warren keeps saying the right things. She got caught up on the micro-Indian heritage bit, but not so bad, since many Americans do the same thing. But I keep wondering if she has some big, giant thing behind the closet door....

Pathological liars can be really likeable people, it's easy to be likeable and admirable when you are not bound by the truth.

Excellent point. Narcissists, too (and there is some crossover with the lying). Which seems kind of a job requirement for most politicians.

Its a close cousin.
Credibility destroyed, bet it proves to be a career ending move.
We can always hope!

And the hits just keep coming

I saw a dead body float past...except the French Quarter didn't flood.
I caught dysentery...except infectious disease specialist on scene says NO cases reported by anyone, even though most had scrapes, cuts, etc.

As accurate as that is, I'd guess that the ranks of talking news heads is chock full o' nuts, just like the can says.

If his name was Geraldo "I'm a war correspondent" Rivera there would be no problem

Heh you saw that to :laughing :laughing

Remember Geraldo on a bluff above a canyon in Afganistan. He so badly wanted to walk to the edge and see for himself and his viewers the horrors of war. He was repeatedly told not to do it. It was a good way to get shot. Next day a Field Commander thrown Geraldo out of the country. Saying he endangered US soldiers and possible enemy spy by broadcasting his current locations and objectives of the Unit he was embedded. :laughing

Wow just a thought - Brian Williams and Hillary swapping war stories. Ak47s, RPGs and Sniper firing :laughing
