A new car is always a huge challenge.

A really huge challenge. People see Tesla, Lucid, Ineos, etc pop up and start cranking out vehicles, but there’s an absolute mountain of forces against anyone here that wants to bring a car to market.

I’ve honestly lost count of how many cars like this Shoreline Bespoke that they bring a roller with a “potential” spec sheet out to the auto show and generate buzz, but the car stays in vaporware. And nowadays, they can just render the whole car and do the same thing digitally.

I just bought a 1970 Coupe DeVille in original condition and 84K original miles from the second owner. I love those big land yachts from the late 60s and into the 70s. Of course I love the muscle cars but the ones I want are out of reach. It's a good buyers market right now for those big American luxury cars from the 60s to the 80s. It's an era that will never return.

Yup! And I can work on her without plugging her into a laptop! I love technology but it never lived up to the promises that it would make our lives easier. But oh, it's quite the opposite! It just makes everyone less self-reliant.
