One of my jobs was to maintain the ejection seat systems of the aircraft. There were three instances where the seats that I worked on had to be used. One F-4S (two seats), one A-4M, and one F-5E. In addition, crews brief that they'll say "Eject, eject, eject" to communicate their intention to the other aircrew in the aircraft / tell them to initiate the process (pull the handle).
