As this will be my new trail attack bike I installed the Fasst Flexx Bars from my Sur Ron Light Bee

Left Hand Rear Brake Project - I build one of these for the Light Bee and this perfect for enduro trail riding

So the previous owner of this bike gave me the 250cc engine that was in the bike before he did the conversion so I did a video about it. The WR250R was an interesting bike, it was the most expensive of the small Japanese dual sports but had the best suspension suited for offroad riding, it was the tallest bike, and it had the widest gearing with a 6-speed gearbox. It was also the most expensive.

Tank Bracket Fabrication
Since the WRE doesn't have a radiator or reservoir anymore there's just a huge opening where there used to be and nothing to support the gas tank plastics. So they flop around all over the place when riding so I ziptie them down. I set out to fabricate a more elegant solution.

Found out one of the limitation of the EBMX X-9000 V2 controller is it will not run with any voltage over 92V

First Ride WR250E MK2 and it ended in catastrophic failure. Had the settings set too high and blew the controller. It sure was a beast though! Controllers don't like it when you pull a lot of power and the BMS suddenly shuts the battery off.

Part 1

Part 2

After I blew up the controller I decide to work on the drivetrain instead of the powertrain for the time being and give an update as of February 2025
