How’s the BARF Militia doing?

I am waiting to clear some stuff up and then I will be going on a new suppressor spree. I am thinking a big bore SilencerCo 46M that can go on my PCC and rifles with an ASR QD mount for all and then I can move my Octane45 back to being a pistol only can as it is living on my PCC right now. Haven't been shooting a lot either between work travel and face melting heat/humidity down here in the swamps but the weather is cooling off and we are having a ton of family from CA coming down for daughter's wedding in November so may take them out and show them some non-CA compliant fun.

My guns feel very very neglected.

I blame ammo prices, considering I'm super duper trigger happy.
Same, probably over a year since I went shooting last. Being near SFO, the lack of ranges nearby is a also a major factor because it eats up so much time to drive.

I did get some sticker shock, my last shopping trip, 45-70 way up in the $60. for 20 rounds
Glad I have something that gains in value, a collection of different bullet weights/powder.
12 gauge, is still found @ $15. a box of 25. Fuel for my new blaster.

My new toy, like this version over the Mariner, shorter without the pistol grip, and the auto load makes it easy.
What 12 year old boy wouldn't want a blaster, or could afford the ammo for it ?
My 75 th birthday present, allowed to own in Az.
I did water the shooting area with 12 gallons, insure the greenery stays green.
I did get a first gen, only available from Sportsman Warehouse, second gen seems sold out, already waiting for third with a real stock too.
Walmart has Fed trap loads for $11. @ 25 a box. the cheapest,
My Lil' Blastard, , ,

Making milk jugs fly, , ,

My range is on this map, about 1/8 mile, other side of road, @ the cursor/hand

Man suppressors are now available on 4473s only now. So tempting but wouldn't want to expose myself to possibly unregistered NFA firearms if the next president decides that they now want to regulate them. Will probably still go the Form 4 route as that will be legal no matter what but still won't have to pay the NFA tax stamp but still need to do fingerprints and trust.

Requalified as Project Appleseed Pistoleer last weekend in Red Bluff.
Looking forward to the possibility of the Pistolseed clinics coming to Concord.

They're had it for a few years.
Last year, it went through a massive overhaul with what they call a "rebluing."
I attended the California instructor boot camp in January, and had a chance to work a shoot in Sacramento in September.
Officially, I'm not an "instructor in training" yet, due to some strange decision that only full (red hat) rifle instructors would be focused on this year.
Unofficially, I still worked as an IIT and taught a couple of sections in Sac.
We gained a new shoot boss this year, who is considering bringing the Pistolseed course to United Sportsmen in Concord.

If anyone is interested, I'll keep BARF updated.
I can tell you from personal experience that your marksmanship will absolutely improve.
And you'll have fun doing it.

CZs sure do look sexy but for some reason haven't pulled the trigger. I do want another Canik, possibly a Rival for some USPSA action or just keep rolling with the M&P9 FS.
