I've been going back and forth over this thing for about a year. Been searching for the impossible; a + or - 400cc twin, less than 400 lbs, with proper adventure bike geometry. Outfitted with a 21" front wheel, windscreen, moderate fairing and suitable street riding aides that easily turn off on the fly for those unpaved sections. It needs to have enough ground clearance to navigate over rougher terrain AND it has to have a realistic seat height. Really, this thing simply does not exist, or it hasn't existed until some crafty moto enthusiast/ engineer back in China listened. The clincher was when my influencer friend in Australia was given one to run through the ringer. Usually a hard enduro guy he sort of scoffed at the little CF Moto that arrived from the exotic far east in a crate last year. Needless to say his excited email that said THUMPY!!!! I FOUND YOUR BIKE!
Meet the Ibex 450 from CF Moto. I purchased through Auburn Extreme Power Sports, at $6495 MSRP the only dealer that actually picked up a phone and called me after I inquired on the interwebs.
