John Dice New bikes for '26 memorial thread.

Electricity and dirt are coming together a bit more every year. Stark is slinging it in 2026

Lets change colors.. I like Blue and this Big Blue Beast can take you from here to waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayy over ---> there in comfort and style.

The BMW 1300 RT has what it takes to gobble up long distance miles.

All that blue sure is perty though.
Looks very un-BMW-like.
👍

Don't say where the Triumph 450 is being manufactured.
I haven't kept up on that lately. Is the line run next to the unicorns?
Have a feeling it's not Thruxton anymore.

Good question, Triples were made in England, Classic Twins moved to Thailand,
I think the new 400 street bikes, also Thailand.

I'll WAG, it's England, because of product test/design.

wild ass guess

Those things wheelie ? I haven’t had the nerve to launch my 2012 GSA 1200 in the air yet…
Wondering what the procedure is ? Do you just rev it to the max and dump the clutch to get the beluga whale off the ground?
Or should I look for a jump or something to get the thing up in the air just wondering ?
Is there a wheel control on these things?
I don’t know what I don’t know any help here ?
Geez …

I can loft the front wheel from a stop by letting the clutch out a little quicker than normal and giving her some beans. Much less than full throttle, she has TORQUE! It keeps happening for some reason, and mostly on Friday afternoons...

This is helpful…
I still trying to figure torque out on this bike.
The closest bike I had with a lot of torque was a Honda XR 500 with Pro Link Suspension.
I guess that why MTN Rider put John Deere sticker on this bike … he did mention Tractor when describing this bike at the time of purchase…
I do some testing as soon as possible….

I almost looped my R90/6, I nailed second gear, downtown Elmira on a lunch break.
I didn't wind it out, but THAT torque peak, wow !
I have looped my Suzuki 78 GS 750 once…
It was at about as fast as 1st gear would go when I looped it ….
I watched as rolled down the street …
Thrashed both side of the bike
The tail light and license plate had vertical road rash….started a few conversations when other riders checked out my bike after I fixed and put back on the road….

I definitely don’t wanna do that again…
Could only imagine what the cylinders would look like if it tumble like my GS did….

I hadn’t considered second gear wheelies yet so we’ll see where I go next….
