Photos of your bike on location

Dude... not to be destitute of sympathetic kindness, but if you were in High School back in the '60's you are "History". :)
History….?
Yeah I am probably older then you think and definitely younger then most people think at the same time…..Class of 1980 geez🤪
Funny thing about getting older when you never changed is you don’t care what others think….

I grew up in San Rafael too., then raised my kids in Novato. Divorce landed me happily in Santa Rosa.
I'll be at the Carnegie Hillclimb this weekend but I ride the West Marin backroads almost every weekend. We may have to meet up at Nick's Cove one of these days.

FYI John, the prompt was "well used...."
Nothing disparaging intended in regards to how the image came out.

I wish I used my bikes 10% of what you do.

the gap in Glaucophane Ridge on Little Panoche Road (J1), San Benito County, California, 10/25/2026, 11:58 pm:

I’m riding the green bike … :ride

(Glaucophane is a sodium-magnesium-aluminum silicate mineral belonging to the amphibole group of inosilicates, famous for giving blueschist its signature blue color, so I’m told.)

Today I stopped by the Repack anniversary gathering at the Marin Museum of Bicycling and Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in Fairfax.
I missed the anniversary ride this morning, which reportedly drew about 30 riders, but I still had a great time catching up with old friends and soaking in the history. There was a keg of beer, plenty of stories, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you how much mountain biking grew out of a close-knit community.
Walking through the museum, it struck me how many people in the motorcycle world probably started on bicycles. You can see the connection in the machines, the tinkering, the adventure, and the personalities.
Hard to spend time in Fairfax and not appreciate how much of mountain biking's history traces back to these hills and the people who rode them.

@bcj - I recognize the Sappho name. Not sure exactly where that is but familiar with the area thanks to riding the coast all the way down from Seattle. Should have hit the Peninsula instead of turning back to 101.

Sappho is on 101 north of Forks. The HWY is 113 from there up to 112.
Thought the road name deserved to be here ;)

Photo is on the Pysht end where it meets 112
