How to instill white hot rage in the morning: see your ADHD partner deeply focused and typing away on their work laptop at the kitchen table at home before work when they are supposed to be leaving. This is an unusual event. Interrupt them in this productive and intense moment to make sure they understand that having said laptop on a fabric place mat is not good for it and could result in overheating.

Instant 15-20 minute derail due to break in focus. Anger - gee how did I get to my mid-50s using computers for decades and not know that. Thanks for correcting my behavior with no context to what I am doing, what my deadline is, or how long I was at the task.

Agree with ask first. When the music studio was across the street it was parking and trash. Then it was war. No one should ever have to cross an angry Serb raised out of South Chicago. Like MD SAYS ask first.

Annnndddd, the bank says “we have to hold the check, we can release $2k today, another $35k Monday and there’s ton s 10 day hold!”” Fuck that!!!
Total meltdown in a reasonable tone of voice, call to xxx ( where check is drawn from) asking terms for moving our 26 year old bank account over today.


Check is deposited no hold. I hate trying to do business in America.
