Post / Chat whores post here (2026)

Not to bring the vibe of the PWT down but most of y'all know what I'm doing with my brother's dog. As best as I can do.

The past few days, we've had tree trimmer estimators, 4 of them, and I HATE having to tell them I need a few minutes to put the dog either in the back or in the house where she can't get out and bark so loud I can't even hear you. And she still barks very loud.

If you think this is the last time I'm going to vent about this, you'd be wrong. I'd like to be wrong.

Ultimately, I'm trying... IT'S NOT MY FUCKING DOG. And she's not trained. Follow me around... do you have food and water in your bowls? YES? THEN LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE. Bite me while I'm trying to put the leash on to walk you. I don't give how much of shit this dog needs outside of her basic needs met. That's not my fault your owner is a narcissist and in jail.

I don't like speaking bad about dogs because I know so many of you have dogs you love.
So a dog being a dog? Dude, sack up and either take care of the dog like a normal person, or give it to someone that will. At this point, it sounds like you are borderline neglecting the dog because you hate your brother. Give the dog some love and you'll be surprised at how he responds. Work on training with him and you'll be surprised how he responds. Make him responsible for your brothers actions, ignore him altogether, and treat him like shit? I think you've already seen how he responds.

There is an old saying "Don't blame the dog, blame the owner."

Happy Monday!
Kuro, I’m sorry this poor dog and you have been thrust into a life together. Too bad the dog can’t become a companion for your mom annd anllow you more freedom.
Insane person is packing. I’m staying in the cottage behind the house because she has the guest room. Was called at 3:42AM because she thought someone was in the locked connector between the guest room and main house. DO NOT CALL THE POLICE!! None of us need this. I think the planets must be misaligned or something.
My sister will be here this afternoon and together we will get this situation dealt with.

Life! It has its ups and it has its downs.

I tried to mtb yesterday, hand said hard nope.

Procedure recovery taking longer than i expected.

Subtle fear in the back of my head, will it ever be "better" after this procedure? One step forward, 3 steps back at the moment.
Traded awkward functional for painful limited function.
Fack.

Missing my favorite riding season

Of course in the grand scheme of things, I'm doing great and life is great. Minor inconvenience.
But hands are nice to have working good. I feel like this is a window into what life will be like with future arthritis

Arthritis is the suck. Live in pain every day.
Will pound out another gym session where the shoulder objects loudly. Just shove the fingers in the ears and do it.

Hope ya heal up quickly and fully.

How the hell does a thread about coffee get closed?!

Well it got political. I really believe it was trolling for a fish to take a bite and mean dad did. I am not going to move these things into the Political forum anymore. Just close them.

Morning whorez

Strangely cathartic weekend.

Need some tired looking old man to stand there as menacingly as he can? :wave

@budman
Seeing you and others work hard through the shit to get back on track is humbling and inspiring.

My wife started going to the gym a year ago to try to put on some muscle post menopause.
I keep telling myself I don't need to, as I hate just pushing weight and being in the gym vibe.
I have always been very fit and somewhat muscular just from doing my life activities and my physical work, but injuries have removed some of those activities (no longer playing competitive ice hockey and lacrosse against 20 somethings as I approach 60 due to getting my shoulder separated and a nasty concussion in separate incidents in "no hard body checking" leagues) , hand issues have reduced the hardcore dirt biking and mtb this year.
Ski season is coming, Ikon passes bought, I have been an expert skier and snowboarder for over 35 years, but I have dialed back the risk on big lines and airs. My wife has mostly switched to Nordic.
She is smarter than I am.
My youngest has gotten into rock climbing and is on a team at the local gym. I used to be a pretty decent Rock rat, no way my hands are anywhere ready for that.

I've got to find something fun outside to keep me moving and fit. This transition with useless hands sucks. At least I live here in Truckee close to trails and forests and can always just go for a walk.
But I crave speed, adrenaline and movement, I've been scratching that itch with the multistrada.

Did downhill skateboarding in the late 90s in SF

I lived in a warehouse in Bayview with my friends that started a downhill skateboard manufacturing company there.

Good times.

At least two of my nine lives were used during that one year span.

Actually it was maybe three
I forgot about the gun incident

It is hitting me hard that I have past the halfway mark. Not caring for prior injuries properly is taking a toll. That said I still do as much as I can. Hands are shot from decades of rope work yet I am still going to master this ukulele

all I want at this point is to remove all drama and chaos from my life and to settle in with good friends.

@augustiron

Thanks... putting on muscle at :afm199 is tough. It is coming slooooooooowwwly.
The amount of work for the amount of added muscle sure do not equate and I think I am close to the point where getting any won't happen. Not sure what that age is.

I just got to get back to health before age will not let it happen. I think that is real.

For me there is one thing that makes my soul sing. The moto flow. IT is the only thing that comes close to the physical joy of my younger years. So happy to still have that in my world.

Your world of activities seem pretty awesome to me. I was not even close in my 50's.
Wish you da best in your search for joy of a physical nature.

Mike, you are 100% correct in everything you said. I am doing what I can do. The point of what I said venting is well... to vent.

This morning, I'm hungry, I thought about the dog and making sure she had food and water before I thought about myself, what I might want. It's very hard "don't blame the dog, blame the owner". I get it. I'm not the owner though.

It's a burden I have to deal with for now. It would be nice if a friend of his who actually likes the dog could take care of her. Oh wait! No. He doesn't have any friends. His closest friend is this dog.
