How close are they? It was a weird year in general and while fruit and buds are not the same thing, most fruit and nut trees were early this year. I find that if I pick sativa too early, it gives you that anxiety shit, and I pick indica too late, I fall asleep before finishing the bowl. So it depends on variety, condition, etc.
I only have one sativa plant and it's well behind the other's... it's definitely going another week.
The other's aren't showing any amber tricombs yet, and I'd like to see the buds tighten up a little. My kid will be watering for me, so I may let him make the call.
It's been a shitty season for me. I moved the plants to a different part of the yard and it was a mistake.
Last year still haunts me. I was so distraught from a family loss, that I couldn't get my shit together to harvest and trim in a timely manner (I couldn't trim without my dog 🙁) About 75% of the yield ended up in the trash.

Boofing all the way, so unless you're planning on bong ripping a fart box, no... Not pipe dope.

I used to be really meticulous during the trimming and curing time. The last few times I have grown, I just don't have the energy or desire to sit and trim for multiple evenings. The last batch (I diddn't do any this year) I just cut and hung. Hence the year break.

I'll probably do one or two next year. Keep it small and easy and get back to being a perfectionist with it. Shiiiiiit, back in college my friend (a second generation pot dealer from Martinez) used to drive all the way to San Jose to pick up the weed I grew in my closet from seeds I brought back from Amsterdam. I single-handledy tested every single cannabis cup winner I could find and ended up bring back and growing the cup winner from that year (Northern Lights #5 x Haze).

Being biology majors, I then bred the plants by selecting a male or two (my buddy lived downstairs and helped) and keeping them apart and pollinating select flowers with a Q-tip. I ended up with this one plant that was obviously super sativa dominant and had these cool little pineapple shaped buds that just made you happy. I have never had weed like that since. It just fucking made you want to dance.

Anyway, that was when I had time and energy. Now, I throw some seeds or a couple of clones in the backyard and see what happens.

Tell me more... I've never bled the ABS pump on the hyper, I figure it naturally exchanges fluid when goaty roads and heavy braking make the electronics nervous. On that note I should really turn down the ABS, kinda annoying when you go from stopping to not stopping just because the rear wheel won't stay on the ground

Re : adding bleeder banjo bolts on abs pump

I knew this was a good move when I went to install them and the front brake banjo immediately oozed brake fluid while swapping out the banjo bolt as it should, but the rear did not, there was an air cavity in there, and this is after bleeding it thoroughly when I first got the bike.

Got them installed, got them bled, tons of air in the rear.
Finishing it up now with some other work, hopefully test ride later today or tomorrow

I was helping a neighbor with some basic help with their yard work.

I don't know how we got on the topic but there was a movie we both watched Lanterns. But part of the main plot is a king of Rome who never be born. Meaning Cesare.

My mother cut me out of her belly. C section is called so for a reason. Cesarean Sectiion.
