My knee thinks the circle pit last night was a bad idea.

Took the dog for walk and made it about halfway before it stopped wanting to support weight. So now I'm sitting on a tree stump waiting to hear the good pop that means I can walk again.
 
back home from the anal probe, was disappoint that staff did not have green alien masks on when I came out of anesthesia.
Celebrated with a blood test, wonder how not eating for 28 hours, colonoscopy prep drugs and anesthesia will appear on the blood test.
 
One side done! Not bad for an old man... working in the driveway on his back... with a numb right hand. :laughing
I think I'll take the rest of the day off and do the other side tomorrow. Cuz if there's one thing I've learned, it's never do too much in one day... or they'll expect you to do that much every day. :twofinger

Got a nice urban mountain bike ride in. Got back to a noise complaint about the amount of moto activity at the garage. Guess I'm gonna have to find somewhere else to do things that require idling the motor. Don't wanna get kicked out, I can't afford garage space anywhere else 😬
 
I know which coffee shop, frequented by TWT , & N8, I'm going at , next Tuesday .. :rofl guess who's assigned to work "nearby"

Parts options these days for old cars is often a junkyard that has a wrecked car but parts you need that aren't wrecked and also Facebook marketplace has a lot of people posting cars they want to part out that are just sitting in their garage or driveway. But obviously as cars get older, the options get harder.

I have to keep this in mind when I decide what my next car will be because 100% do not like new cars. I don't want to own any car that I have to take to the dealership or some licensed mechanic or whatever because the maintenance/repair is not something I can do myself.

I hate when I have to fly out of town for work trips and get a rental. I hate all the buttons and things. The only thing I care about, other than air conditioning, is if there's a jack to plug my phone in to play my own music because I have no idea what the radio stations are.

Oh, and push button start, hate those too. One work trip, I was 'upgraded' no charge to a Nissan Altima and I told them I don't want it. Give me that Sentra because it's turn key ignition.

Anytime I'm watching TV and there's a commercial about whatever new car, part of me wants to throw the remote at the TV because the commercials highlight a bunch of features I don't give a flying fuck about.

I miss my Caddy. The analog nature of the car was exactly what I wanted.
The new fangled ding ding... waaaa... waaa and other safety features that keep yelling at me are just bullshit.

To your point... push button. Fucking crap.
