So Who Rode in Today?

I bet mean dad splits with that no problem

I was expecting overcast and fog all the way. I hate with the sun sits right above the road, especially when the pavement is wet. I had to fish out my sunglasses, just in time for some the densest fog I've been in. I should have flipped on my camera.

Bike looks awesome! 👍

You lanesplitting with the set up?
Yes sir.
It definitely helps me to not ride like an ass since everyone can see me for miles. :laughing

But even with the bike lit up like a Christmas tree there's still a few people that yank the steering wheel to get out of my way when I'm already next to them. :wtf STAY OFF YOUR DAMMN PHONE

Ya know even when I fully change lanes to pass, people still move fully into the shoulder :dunno

And there are those that want to crowd

When people do that (assuming conditions allow it) I'll motion them closer to the center of their lane or at least fully onto the roadway, then give them an enthusiastic thumbs up.
Like training a puppy. :laughing

And there are those that want to crowd
Dude I swear some days I could drive my truck down the white lines, and other days it's a wobbly mess trying to get through.

Although on the open days, the assholes who crowd the line stick out like sore thumbs. :laughing

Pro tip - do not leave your riding gear in the garage over the weekend - it makes the morning ride colder...

Another rider this morning, two fingers... I would like a better camera. I like it on my helmet, but I think I would like to mount F/R cameras and be able to forget about it.

it was cold, i saw 37F on the way in.

i saw another rider on a divided highway and he waved to me, probably because it was so cold, commiserating 🥶

I rode my bicycle, then the ferry, then my bicycle again. :laughing But I did pull out & wear the Winter Motorcycle gloves. So much better than the thin & missing finger tip bicycle gloves

The pretty thing has tried to get me to leave my gear in the house overnight so it's warm in the morning.
Most of the time I accept that riding a motorcycle exposes me to the elements and if I wanted to be warm and dry and cozy I could drive my truck. :dunno

I've done that too, warmed clothes, waddle out the door, all those layers.
7 minutes later, 70 mph, cold seeping in,
shivers, , ,

It is best to impress,
Make a show of the ice, falling in sheets, off your jacket. :ride

Once again I've accidentally ridden into rain. :laughing
I'm much heavier on the rear/lighter on the front brake in the wet, and that turned into a fun little rear tire slide coming down the offramp, right as I'm at the turn with the painted arrows and crosswalk lines.
That'll wake you up! :laughing :ride

Re: lane splitting in Arizona.

Is it only while cars are stopped at a light? Just 'filtering' and not really lane splitting sharing?
