Thank you, Burning BARF crew
My first night around the fire—potluck plates, laughter, and the glow of shared miles—was something special. Grateful for the ride, the stories, and the kind of company that makes a weekend unforgettable.
Here’s a shot from that evening to kick off the memories.

Thanks to Dima for the great meat at the potluck Saturday night, and all who contributed.
Looks like I need to bring a flyrod for the next Stonybarf to try and catch some trout next time. Will need some pointers from SFMCJohn and Michele! I did enjoy just soaking in the river this time.
A little pew pew with Bananachunks rounded off some good times.
All kinds of great stuff at Stonybarf, on and off the bikes, as well as around the campfire. Good folk!
Big thanks to Cootz and Pastapwr...... for donating some straps after I lost my footpeg retainers for the MxHauler to get me home this morning. I suspect they are somewhere along the way up St John's to our pew pew spot Friday.
God times for sure! Great seeing everyone and meeting some new folks.
I love the new potluck tradition!
A few shots from our Sat ride out to Anthony Peak with the crew of Legends, Bcbunks, CrazyC, Chris, Nate, Dave and Dylan.. Thankfully I didn't get a flat this trip since the last two I Stony rides I had rear flats.
The slow Hondas anchored the group while the other guys showed us the way.
These two greats barely made it to the gas station after the 140ish miles out and back. I always like riding with these two guys even if I can't keep up with them.
some of the StonyBARF gang, on Saturday afternoon:
happy-camper BARFers:
and the other fish I caught, thanks to being tutored by Mr Michele … a silver lining to being the worst fisherman in the world is there is lots of room for improvement.
caught this one down at the end of the Mine Camp in-and-out:
on my to-do list for our next StonyBARF is to go plinking with Mr @OaklandF4i and Mr @bananachunks … can’t wait! as always, big thank-you to Mr @Butch for organizing and to everyone who helped make the awesome BARF scene.
I remember that day. I think I was asking you "Are your were ok?" What was truly amazing is that your XR4 looked like it had never seen dirt in its life the next time I saw it!
